Shakira wins Free Your Mind Award at EMAs

In recognition of her continuing dedication to improve access toeducation for all children around the world, Shakira was named as the 2010Free Your Mindrecipient at last night'sEMA Awardsin Madrid, Spain (she also opened the show, with an amazing performance of Loca and Waka Waka).

Latin America tour announced!

We're very excited to announce that Shakira will be bringing theSale El Sol tour to Latin AmericainFebruaryandMarch 2011. The tour will visit Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, México, Paraguay, Perú, Puerto Rico, República Dominicana and Venezuela (with even more countries to be announced).

The tour will be part ofThe Pop Festival, a brand new festival that will bring international music stars to Latin America, and which will also showcase the latest in contemporary art and technology.
